I'm starting a collection of "You know you're addicted when" lines. Here are a couple that have occurred to me lately:

1. You know you're addicted when you start to have a callous on your trackball finger.
2. You see a sign at the grocery store that says "$500 in free groceries, register here!" and for a minute you thought it said "500 free graphics, enter here!"

Believe it or not, the above 2 are TRUE. If you have one you've thought of, send it to me, I'll publish it and say who you are, if you like.

I made an animation with a fractal which was 40 frames and over 100,000 bytes. After I uploaded it, I put it in this form here for the Gif Wizard.

Now, the thing is only about 40,000 and there is no difference in the quality that I can see! Try this out!
