I had a series of lucid dreams in which an angel appeared to me,to help me face my inner fears & demons which had haunted my sleep & waking life for many, many years. I had a recurring nightmare in which I awakened & was paralyzed while a huge, evil entity moved swiftly towards me. I couldn't move, couldn't scream, and was absolutely terrified as I struggled to wake up before the entity reached me. Often, I would wake up screaming. This went on since childhood. I worked on my fears in my waking life for a long time, then one night I had the same dream, only this time as I started to run away in fear as usual, I held fast and declared, No, I won't be afraid any longer because God is stronger than you (evil/fears) and He protects me. Immediately, a bright light appeared to my right, and I saw the huge outline of an angel with his face turned towards me and the evil entity, and the angel's face was stern yet conveyed an affirmation of my statement. He held a sword in one hand, pointed towards the ground, and he seemed to emanate this dazzling, golden-white light that was so bright I could not really make out his features. Somehow I knew his name to be Michael. As soon as Michael appeared, the evil entity hastily retreated, and it felt like I was bathed in this wonderful feeling of joy and relief that I had finally got the message. About a week later, I had this same dream, the same events transpired with my declaring my faith and rejecting my fears, and this time I heard a voice say, She is ready. Then I was rewarded or treated with a dazzling display of fireworks! There was this wonderful feeling of comraderie, like all my guardian angels and spirit guides who had been working with me for many many years-and who knows, lifetimes?--were overjoyed that I had finally faced the fears that had been holding me back for so long. I was to remember these dreams, which were more like visions since I was lucid dreaming (awake during a dream) a week later, when I had to face my biggest fears in waking life. I truly believe that if I hadn't passed the test in my dreams, I would not have been tested in waking life. And that belief got me through the crisis. :)That led me to become a big believer in the power of dreams, and their inner guidance, and I have devoted a webpage to this subject along with an offer of free dream interpretations, and I plan to write a book. So naturally, my dream vision of a webpage would depict this wonderful scene from my angel dreams, where I faced down the entity, was visited by an angel, and treated to fireworks. I think that would be a truly inspiring vision to many people, since it sure was to me! (I hope this wasn't too long!) Thank you, Cyndi Russell
Whew! One day I will do this again, but now I have so much work to do! Thanks to all who entered, we did have so much fun!
