Mill Stream 2

A New Watercolor Print from Picture Perfect Studio

This is a new watercolor of an old mill stream near Opelika, Alabama. The reference photo was also used to create the painting which appears on the cover of the Alabama Living Magazine, August issue, 1996. I cropped the photo by covering it with a piece of cardboard to make it the right orientation for the magazine. But this one shows the entire scene in all its glory as it really looked the day I took the pictures. I much prefer it to the other one.

I notice that the dark lush blue-greens and dark blues are showing up here as black. They didn't look that way in my graphics program. And they don't look black in the prints.

This painting is coming out in a limited issue print numbering 50 prints. Each print will be about 8 by 10 (size of the picture itself) inches, on fine acid-free textured artists' paper. It is almost impossible to tell that it isn't actually the painting itself. The print is printed with very good lightfast inks.

Your print will be shipped to you on receipt of your check. Shipping is included in the price of $40. Please email me first before you order.

Your print will arrive with nothing written on it on it except my signature in pencil, telling which number it is of the 50 prints.
