IMPORTANT COPYRIGHT INFORMATION! PLEASE READ!I have recently acquired the ability to put a watermark embedded into every graphic! When scanned at Digimarc the graphic will show my number. This number is registered to me and only to me. Anytime you use their software to scan a graphic to see if it retains a copyright, whatever number you have been assigned will show up. You can then look up that number and learn who the artist is.I'm in the process of putting this code on every single piece of digital art that I've ever made, starting with the graphics in this site. This is wonderful! Now you are assured that your graphics which you obtain from Artmaker Studio will have this code embedded in it. Every one. Then if somebody steals your graphic from your page, you have proof that it is copyrighted to Artmaker, and sold to you. Previous patrons please notify me if you want me to put this mark on your existing site, send me your URL, I will go there and retrive your files and place this number on everything in there. This is going to assist us in the case of theft. And it does happen, it happened yesterday. At least I found out about it yesterday! Someone had taken Donna's graphic that I made for her "Pooh's Corner" site. Fortunately, I had this ability and I used it on her graphic and mailed it back to her. I also wrote the person who had stolen it and asked her to please remove it. She had been asked before, but she had refused. She has now removed it and I hope she will not steal again. I always start completely from scratch in my designs. It is
just as wrong to scan something in from a book or magazine and then
use that to make your designs as it is to copy a graphic
and use that to make your design. I know that this is being done.
Be careful that you know your designer does NOT do this!
