On August 20, 1994 I received a letter saying I had been awarded this prestigious award for Education. My thanks to the wonderful people at the Cornerstone Foundation who selected my site!

I would like to thank those organizations and people for viewing my sites and for giving these awards for my work. It is my pledge to continue to work for improvements and for elegance, and to hopefully bring some beauty to the world through this medium. I also pledge to create some special things for the children on line; something sweet and something to fuel an imagination just waiting to start working on beautiful, wonderful ideas. Here's my Kids' Section! Children should find rest and hope and wonder on the World Wide Web. I'd also like to invite others to join with me to create a children's list of URLs. Any ideas, folks?

Another mission has been recently started: I have been made aware that there are computers for the blind which will read the textand the blind individual surfs the internet. My new mission will involve the "alt" attribute for each and every one of the images in this site, with text versions for the readers when possible. This will take me quite a while, as my whole site is about images. But, here goes!
